FAQ
General Question
At Physiomobile, our treatment is based on Manual Therapy, a technique proven to be one of the most effective in physiotherapy, both in Malaysia and internationally. “Manual Therapy” refers to the hands-on methods used by all Physiomobile physiotherapists, involving no electrotherapy machines. Unlike other physiotherapy centers, Physiomobile ensures that 60% of our treatments are manual, incorporating various new techniques such as muscle, tendon, joint, and bone manipulation to soften tight joints
The advantages of manual techniques at Physiomobile include:
- Direct treatment of the problem area.
- Safe, gradual manipulation of joints and bones.
- Targeted massage for tight muscles, tendons, and tissues.
- Custom exercises for each patient using the latest methods.
- Manipulation to relieve tight joints and muscles.
- Stretching exercises to lengthen tight muscles and increase the range of motion.
- Strength exercises to prevent recurring pain.
- A personalized exercise and education plan for patients to follow at home and work.
All our physiotherapists hold degrees or diplomas in physiotherapy. Our physiotherapy centers are registered and regulated under the Ministry of Health Malaysia. Physiomobile is a certified physiotherapy center, with our academic advisor, Dr. Azyliyana from UITM, overseeing all techniques and treatments provided by our physiotherapists.
Our experienced physiotherapists have treated over 35,000 patients with various physical issues, including Slip Disc, which can be fully cured with thorough and effective treatment. Other conditions we treat include:
- Muscle Pain (Tight and Knotted Muscles)
- Knee Pain
- Back Pain
- Neck Pain
- Scoliosis (Curved Spine)
- Nerve-related Issues
- Fractures (Pre and Post Cast)
- Stroke
- Child Developmental Issues
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Pre and Postnatal Care
- Lung-related Problems
- Sports Injuries
- Post-Surgery Rehabilitation
- Specialized Massages for Childbirth Preparation
- Full-Body Circulatory Massages
Physiomobile physiotherapists can identify the type and cause of your condition by listening to your symptoms. They also understand which muscles, tendons, nerves, and brain functions are involved. Unlike a traditional masseuse, our physiotherapists will conduct manual therapy tests to diagnose the issue and provide tailored treatment. Each treatment is unique to the patient, and we know which methods are most appropriate.
Chiropractic treatment focuses on high-pressure manipulation of bones and joints, which may not be suitable for all conditions. In contrast, manual therapy at Physiomobile involves graded manipulation of bones, accompanied by exercises and gentle massages for affected muscles.
